March 16, 2010 marked pre registration for courses from the Innovation Among Peers Program, courses organized by Fundación Evolución and Microsoft. The training plan aims to improve teachers and administrators’ skills on TICs in order to achieve the proper integration of computing tools. Content is available for early childhood education, primary school and high school in both private and public settings. These courses are free of charge with limited spaces for teachers and are ready to be used during the first term of 2010.

The courses from the Innovation Among Peers Program are carried out by means of a virtual field, on the Wormhole LMS platform designed by Wormhole IT . This platform allows the participants to interact in a virtual classroom through a web cam, microphone, chat and whiteboard. Students can also have access to the material on line for questions during the class or at any other moment.

This breakthrough in teacher training eases access to key content for children’s computing education without interfering in their schedules and avoiding unnecessary travel. With the simple, easy-to-understand and easy-to-use Wormhole LMS platform, teachers of all educational levels will be able to, through these courses, renew their knowledge in computing tools with the aid of Fundación Evolución and Microsoft.

Enabling Innovation Among Peers to offer training through the Wormhole LMS platform will help spread the program throughout the country of Argentina. We are extremely proud of being part of this project.
