Sally was the only Argentine among 23 successful women entrepreneurs who spoke at the event, which took place on the 14th of February in San Francisco. Read more about the “next billion” in the hands of women.

The international technology news website, The Next Web has release it's list of Latin American startups which they suggest to follow during this year. Wormhole IT is among them, recently selected to join the Endeavor network.

The year 2012 was established as the year in which it is possible to pose the idea of female leadership within the technology industry in South America.

The american NGO presented the 46th International Selection Panel where 40 entrepeneurs from 10 countries were selected: Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Greece, Lebanon, Mexico, Saudi Arabia, Turkey and Uruguay.

Onapsis (winner of Buenos Aires Emprende 2009), Keepcon (winner of Buenos Aires Emprende 2008), and Wormhole (winner of Buenos Aires Emprende 2008) were recognized by Sadosky-CESSI Foundation, the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and the Argentina Endeavor Foundation.

On December 8th, at Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, will take place the local version of the event known as Shell Livewire: Inciativa Jovem Business Fair. This business oriented event will select different projects that, at a later stage, will receive access to consulting rounds.

This last tuesday, october 30th, the local offices of the Massachusetts Technology Institute (MIT) hosted the TR35 awards ceremony, for the 10 innovators in science and technology under 35 selected in Argentina and Uruguay.
