A study by CENIT (Center of Investigations for Transformation) and the SME Observatory during 2010 reveals that 10% of the companies based in the city of Buenos Aires uses telework as a routine work practice.

In memory of the great efforts and revolutionary social processes which begun with the first worker movements, going back to the end of the 18th century and begginings of the 19th, is that this day was created, even if sometimes we feel that it has been taken over by publicity.

“On the job market, videoconferencing has become a common resource,” says Ignacio López, Director of Technology at Wormhole IT. Wormhole IT is joining well-known journalist Andrés Repetto in online TV innovation with its videoconferencing solution.

Starting next Wednesday, AR Online TV, the channel owned by Andrés Repetto, will broadcast a live program using Wormhole Web Conference so that the audience can interact with the program via video and audio. The tool will allow spectators to ask the journalist questions and make notes on the platform’s board while Repetto comments on the videos.

Wormhole IT´s Webconference has grown 30% thanks to it´s collaboration with Telefonica. WWC has become one of the applications available to all of Telefonica´s clients through its app marketplace "Aplicateca". Since last september WWC has arrived in this massive way to the SMB´s market, who now add to the thousands of users who have been having web conferences using WWC for years.

Wormhole IT´s web conference platform is being used by many educative intitutions such as Yale, FLACSO, St. Andrew´s University and Evolution Foundation.
