| Sally Buberman, One of the Ten Entrepreneur Women to Follow in Latin America |
|
The year 2012 was established as the year in which it is possible to pose the idea of female leadership within the technology industry in South America. This is due not only to the fact that more and more women dare take part in this industry -that was always linked to the male gender- but also to the great efforts that movements like Voces Vitales, ASECH and global organizations like WITI have been doing. We should also bear in mind the arrival to the region of the circuit of exclusive female entrepreneur meetings, like Founder Friday. This event takes place at world level in the great cities of the world and its main aim is showing that "they (women) can also be entrepreneurs”. The aim is highlighting and showing who are the young female entrepreneurs that today are setting the path. Within these entrepreneurs, we findSally Buberman: Sally Buberman (Argentina): Co-founder of Wormhole IT, software developing company for videoconferences and education platforms. Mentor of Wayra Argentina, a real engine fostering the Latin America entrepreneur community, she is an international judge at Microsoft Imagine Cup, panel member at the Women Forum for Society and Economy and international judge at the European Commission E-Skills Week Competition, Intel Challenge, TIC Americas of the OAS. |
