Some of the world’s largest telecommunications companies including Vodafone, Deutsche Telekom, Telefónica and China Mobile came together for the TC3 conference organized by the Telecom Council in San Francisco, California. Some of Argentina’s Internet companies were there to share the advantages of the solutions they develop.

On September 12 and 13, the TC3 conference was held in Silicon Valley. Renowned as one of the world’s most important telecommunications conferences TC3 gathered more than 1,000 major companies from the sector, including Sprint, BT, ATT, Nokia, Vodafone, Sony, Deutsche Telekom, Telefónica and China Mobile, among many others.

With opportunities for investors, workshops on innovations and business connections for companies across the world, Argentine companies attended one of the first events at the TC3 conference: the forum on solutions available for major carriers. Companies like Acudora, Quixey, Locaid , Buck and the Argentine company Wormhole held demonstrations of the developments that telecommunications firms can incorporate to their product and service portfolios.

During his presentation, López emphasized that emerging markets are currently growing by 50% annual in the area of webconference solutions. Another advantage to the conference was that telecommunications companies that provide infrastructures for landline, mobile phones and Internet access got a chance to consider alternative suppliers that can add value to their portfolios.
